Luke Loucks has informed the Sacramento Kings he will be leaving the franchise to become head coach of Florida State. Loucks played collegiately at Florida State and has been an NBA assistant coach since 2017. Loucks coached the Golden State Warriors from 2017 until 2021 before following Mike Brown to the Kings in 2022.
Loucks will replace Leonard Hamilton, who was his head coach at Florida State. Hamilton announced his retirement last month.
