Everything is coming up millhouse for Liverpool right now.
After a short bedding-in period at the start of this season, it seems like the Reds have quietly started to hit their stride under Andoni Iraola.
They have now won six of their last seven games in all competitions, with their only defeat coming to Manchester City, with all three goals coming after they had gone down to ten men.
But perhaps the most exciting thing of all for Liverpool fans is that they are a joy to watch again. Their front line is electric and they very much play the attacking football that the Anfield crowd have been so used to seeing over the years. Their identity is back.
Now, we can’t get too ahead of ourselves because during those six wins from seven, they have still shown plenty of cracks that Chelsea could very well exploit tonight. But still, there are more than just promising signs there.
The names on the roster may have changed a little tonight, but don’t expect them to play any differently.
This could be a very entertaining evening.
