Lindsie Chrisley’s Ex David Landsman Indicted on Assault


Lindsie Chrisley’s ex-boyfriend David Landsman has been indicted on various charges, including aggravated assault, false imprisonment and battery.

According to court documents exclusively obtained by Us, the state of Georgia charged and accused Landsman of aggravated assault after an alleged incident on April 10 in Cherokee County.

Landsman allegedly assaulted Chrisley, 36, “with his hand” and forcibly threw her to the ground, causing a laceration to her head.

Court documents also allege that Landsman applied pressure to her throat and neck during the alleged incident.

Landsman is also accused of false imprisonment after he allegedly and unlawfully confined and detained Chrisley.

Finally, the business development expert is accused of battery after he allegedly and intentionally caused substantial physical harm and visible body harm to Chrisley by “forcibly throwing and slamming her to the ground.”

Eleven individuals, including Chrisley, are listed on the state of Georgia’s witness list. Us has reached out to the Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney for comment.

“Mr. Landsman asserts his innocence regarding any charges on the indictment,” Landsman’s attorney told Us in a statement. “Grand juries are one-sided presentments where only the Government presents any evidence. We will enter a plea of not guilty. While the process is not quick, we expect any charges will be resolved in his favor. ”

Back in April, Us confirmed that Chrisley had filed a protective order against Landsman.

Court documents noted that Chrisley and Landsman were in a relationship for approximately two years before the alleged incident on April 10, when he was arrested for aggravated assault, strangulation and battery.

The night prior, the pair were allegedly at dinner when Landsman saw a photo on Chrisley’s phone of who he assumed was another man. Landsman allegedly became “verbally aggressive” until Chrisley explained that the photo was of him.

Landsman reportedly “apologized for his behavior once he confirmed the photo was of himself.” Chrisley claimed that he “remained somewhat on edge for the rest of the evening.”

After their dinner, Chrisley went back to Landsman’s home and allegedly told him “it would be best for her to step away from the relationship for the time being” due to “some things currently going on” in his life.

When Chrisley went to leave Landsman’s home, he allegedly “strangled” her “multiple times.”

Landsman himself called law enforcement to make a report against Chrisley, in 911 audio obtained by TMZ. When asked whether he needed an ambulance, Landsman replied, “I mean, no. She punched me in the face. … There’s blood, but I mean, I’m OK.” Landsman alleged that he didn’t think Chrisley had been consuming alcohol or drugs at the time and claimed she had “never” done anything similar to him before.

According to the court docs, authorities met Chrisley at her house and examined “injuries on her neck and her head.”
