This new Krispy Kreme World Chocolate Day promotion and treat has been announced by the brand in celebration of the namesake event to encourage chocolate fans to head to their nearest location this summer. The promotion will see World Chocolate Day (July 7) celebrated with Chocolate Glazed donuts covered with a Hershey’s chocolate glaze to give them a sweet, familiar taste profile. The brand will even be offering 50% off a dozen of the Chocolate Glaze donuts when customers purchase any dozen at regular price to encourage consumers to pick them up while they can.

Chief Growth Officer Dave Skena spoke on the Krispy Kreme World Chocolate Day treat and promotion saying, “Krispy Kreme fans always anticipate we’ll return our Chocolate Glazed doughnuts on World Chocolate Day, so this year we’re making it extra special and extra chocolatey by adding HERSHEY’S to the glaze for the first time.
