Jordan Pickford’s wife Megan salvaged together a last-minute outfit for England’s first World Cup 2026 match, as she and Ollie Watkins’s spouse led the WAGs heading to the stadium in Dallas on Wednesday.

The WAGs have travelled to the US for England’s first group game against Croatia, with the hope they can start their 2026 campaign in style.

Mere hours before they were due to head to the stadium, Megan shared that she was considering borrowing her son’s England shirt, after losing her suitcase. 

But while filming a hilarious Instagram clip with Ollie’s wife Ellie, she seemed to have swapped the top for a classic white outfit.

Ready to cheer on her partner in the tournament, Ellie sported a low-cut England shirt and heels as she and Megan strutted out of their hotel.

Megan had previously shared a snap of herself in the child-sized shirt that belonged to her son Arlo, after complaining the airline lost her luggage.

Like many WAGs, it seemed the mother-of-three had brought some of her designer accessories, with her mini Birkin bag in view on her hotel bed. 

She captioned the post: ‘Arrived in America… my suitcase did not. Can I wear my seven-year-old’s shirt for the game tonight or not.’

Megan also shared a video on TikTok about the drama, with the caption: ‘My top 5 horror stories…

‘Arriving in America for the World Cup. My suitcase did not arrive. Now sharing my seven-year-old’s kit. My husband plays tonight. The airline hasn’t got back with when my case will come.’ 

Megan, an Instagram star who has assumed a ‘mother hen’ status with other WAGS, often organising pre-match parties, said she would be rushing to Boots or TJ Maxx to buy a replacement pair of jeans.

She said: ‘I’m in Dallas I asked the taxi driver where I could get some jeans he said they have a bills boots or a TJ Maxx.’

She was supported by Ellie Anderson, wife of striker Ollie Watkins, who described it as her ‘worst nightmare’, adding: ‘Don’t worry I’ve got three suitcases full, coming to the rescue.’

Kate Kane, wife of Harry Kane, made sure her bag fit the requirements by wearing a £2,000 Chanel crossbody phone case bag, posting snaps of herself in a chic denim dress ahead of the match. 

Ellie earlier admitted her long-haul flight was ‘going to be chaos’ due to travelling with their two young children and a ‘ridiculous’ amount of suitcases. 

The WAGs touched down in Dallas on Wednesday, joining a buzzing atmosphere ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s side kicking off their campaign.

Their arrival came just hours after England fans were turfed out of local pubs during a wild night of partying for travelling supporters. 

Meanwhile, John Stones’ glamorous wife Olivia announced she was ‘ready for the half-time show’ on Instagram, sporting a red Three Lions top and a small beige clutch. 

But in keeping with Dallas-style, she wore a pair of dark denim short and brown cowboy boots as her long brown tresses flowed over her shoulders.   

Local police went into the Londoner Pub in Dallas well before the 2am closing time to move fans on. 

Bukayo Saka’s fiancée joined in on the World Cup fashion show, sporting a double denim co-ord with hints of red on her phone case, hat and thin skirt belt. 

She topped off the look, which she shared on her Instagram story, with a pair of slim sunglasses. 

England supporters were shirtless, dancing on tables and enjoying the cheap booze ahead of the Three Lions’ first game of the World Cup against Croatia on Wednesday.

And it wasn’t just the Texas watering holes being overrun by England fans, as they also took over the rodeo on Tuesday.

Ellie had previously confessed her journey to the US was going to be ‘chaos’ due to her two young children, and the huge amounts of luggage she planned to take 

Dozens of die-hard Three Lions fans caught the last flight out of London on Tuesday to make tonight’s opening game against Croatia. 

England’s Group L campaign starts with a tricky assignment in Arlington, with their opponents ranked 11th in the world. They defeated the Three Lions in the semi-finals of the 2018 tournament in Russia.

As the team were put through their paces in the last training sessions, Ellie took to TikTok on Tuesday to give an insight into her preparations. 

The influencer said she had overpacked as she stood in front of three suitcases of her own clothes and admitted there was more luggage for her children. 

She said: ‘We are off to America today. We’ve got so many suitcases it’s ridiculous. But I basically packed everything that I would possibly need because I just did not want to be buying anything extra out there.

‘Like, I have everything I need. I don’t want to be wasting any money and spending on extra duplicates so hence the three suitcases. 

‘I know it seems a bit excessive but I just don’t know how long we’re going to be out there for so I’m trying to be prepared and hopefully we’ll be able to squeeze a little family holiday in after. I have packed a few things for that just in case.’

Ellie added: ‘I’m trying to carry as little as possible because it’s just going to be chaos. Two kids, 100 suitcases, extra hand luggage bags.’ 

The couple, who married in May 2025 and live in Birmingham, have two children – Amara, four, and three-year-old Marley. 

Ellie went on to share what was in her Chanel travel bag. Items ranged from multiple lip balms to eye creams, face masks, electrolytes and compression socks as she ‘didn’t want to be a swollen mess’. 

She added: ‘We’re off to America. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to see Ollie. I can’t wait for the kids to see Ollie because they’ve not seen him for a few weeks so let the fun begin.’

Ellie captioned the video: ‘And breathe!! The last few weeks have been a lot of organising, packing, organising, kids and a little bit of partying. We are on our way. Can’t wait for another amazing summer so lucky to be able to do this.’ 

Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford’s fiancée Lucia Loi, 28, was already settling into life stateside as she shared what she had picked up in West Palm Beach which included an inspirational book filled with quotes and gym shorts. 

The couple first started dating when they were pupils at Ashton on Mersey school in Greater Manchester at the age of 15.

She has been seen supporting Marcus at football games over the years, including during the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and has been seen in the stands at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 28-year-old has been seen numerous times cheering her man on in the stands alongside Bellingham’s mother, Denise, and was also in the crowd for England’s 1-0 win over Andorra in Barcelona last year.
