Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund’s relationship took a turn for the worse after the pair attended a country music festival.
After traveling to Indio, California, to experience Stagecoach with headliners Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson and Post Malone, McBee accused Eklund of cheating on him.
“I still don’t know exactly what happened,” McBee shared via a since-deleted Instagram video on April 27, 2026. “I just know there was hand holding, grinding, dancing, drunken stupor at an afterparty.”
Hours later, Eklund tried to defend herself and shared how disappointed she was that her boyfriend took to social media before hearing her side of the story.

In November 2025, McBee went Instagram official with Eklund by sharing PDA photos with the caption, “Never been so certain.”
The lovebirds reportedly met through a friend named William Van Orsdel, who gave McBee an “A+ referral and assist.”
“Went from a dm (actually dm’s*) floating in Allie’s inbox to actually getting a date locked down thanks to Will hahahaha,” McBee shared.
The duo solidified their relationship by attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas that same month.

In a series of Instagram Stories, McBee claimed he received messages from Stagecoach attendees, who alleged Eklund was getting cozy with another man at a festival afterparty.
“Left a day early because I have real responsibilities. Just got two other calls about this situation as well,” he wrote online. “Damn, embarrassing to put this out there but figured there’s no reason to gatekeep. Random dm, two phone calls and a video. Unreal. When someone shows you who they are…listen.”
In a separate Instagram Story, McBee added, “5:03 AM. One person at the gym on a Monday. The other drunk and cheating at an afterparty. Crazy.”
He also alleged in a video posted on Instagram that Eklund made it clear she was not ready to settle down and only cared about attending the biggest concerts, events and festivals.

Eklund said she was at a “loss for words” after seeing McBee’s social media posts.
“Posting everything online before we talked is extremely disheartening and extremely unfair, considering l’ve protected Steven many times during the course of our relationship,” she claimed via her Instagram Story on April 27, 2026. “I chose not to respond to [Steven] immediately because he has a history of verbally abusing me while he’s in a heightened emotional state, and I felt it was more appropriate to have a private, level-headed conversation once emotions had settled. Unfortunately, that opportunity wasn’t given to me before he decided to make this situation public, and it’s even more disappointing that he made references to promote his TV show, as this situation is very real for me and my family, who prefer to live privately.”
Eklund also said she was simply enjoying the festival “with a group of friends.”
Eklund hinted that she is done with McBee for good, adding, “I’m not looking to escalate things any further. I’d like this to end here. I’ve said what feels necessary in response to his actions and I plan on taking time to process and move forward.”

Allie Eklund Reveals Alleged Text Messages From Steven McBee Jr.
After issuing a statement denying that she cheated on McBee, Eklund shared a series of text messages she allegedly received from her boyfriend following Stagecoach.
“Allie — you wake your f***ing ass up and call me right now … Schedule your flight back to Missouri to come get all your f***ing s*** and get gone,” McBee allegedly wrote in back-to-back texts, according to Eklund’s screenshots from April 27, 2026.
Eklund explained in her messages that the man McBee claimed she was getting too cozy with was actually a “friend from Nashville.” McBee didn’t buy it, calling Eklund a “f***ing hooker” and accusing her of taking her “tits out for literally everyone at Stagecoach.”
McBee also allegedly wrote that it was a “f***ing disgrace how [Allie dresses] and how slutty [she acts]” before encouraging her to “embrace how much of a whore [she was].”
“It was my fault for trying to change a street corner whore into a good woman,” he added.

After Eklund shared alleged screenshots of McBee’s abusive text messages to her on April 27, 2026, McBee’s ex-girlfriend Calah Jackson weighed in on their own rocky relationship.
“I’ve stayed quiet on this topic for over a year since season 2 came out to focus on my healing and moving forward,” Jackson wrote via her Instagram Story on April 27, 2026. “But seeing everything come out now & the texts that were posted … what you’re seeing isn’t new behavior or circumstantial, it’s unfortunately who he is and just a small glimpse into what I experienced over the course of my three year relationship with him.”
Jackson accused McBee of “emotional and verbal abuse,” adding that her “character was publicly torn apart and false narratives were pushed about me” during their time together and while appearing on The McBee Dynasty.
“I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it because my truth deserves to be heard too,” her statement concluded. (Jackson and McBee dated from 2021 to 2024, splitting after season 2 filmed.)
Eklund, for her part, reposted a portion of Jackson’s statement via her Instagram Story that same day.

“They had only been dating for about seven months but did talk about getting engaged this year,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on April 28, 2026. “It was heading in that direction and they were very serious.”

Steven McBee Jr. Apologizes for Allie Eklund Texts After Stagecoach Drama
McBee issued a statement on April 29, 2026, about the “cruel and degrading” text messages he sent Eklund after learning of her alleged infidelity, condemning his overreaction.
“Early Monday morning, I was made aware of an incident involving someone I love deeply and I reacted out of absolute hurt and betrayal,” he began his Instagram statement, noting that while there are “videos and details” that give context, he will not be sharing them out of “respect.”
McBee admitted, “What followed is my responsibility alone. No level of personal hurt and betrayal justifies the language I used and I am ashamed of those messages.”
He explained, “While I am absolutely devastated by the decisions and actions of someone I fully trusted and planned a life with, taking those frustrations and pain out on her with cruel and degrading words was wrong. I will not discuss the other details and videos I received; my focus remains entirely on my own actions.”
McBee shared that he’s been in therapy “to manage my emotions during high-intensity moments and I am now taking advanced steps to ensure I react better when faced with adversity.”
He concluded by writing, “I also want to apologize to anyone I have disrespected or spoken to harshly in business, friendships or past relationships. This has never been my intent, and I am committed to doing the work to be a better person.”
McBee confessed, “I am not asking for sympathy but I am grateful to anyone willing to give me the chance to grow. Time to get to work.”
Will Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund’s Drama Play Out on ‘The McBee Dynasty’?
Although Bravo has yet to announce any premiere date for season 3 of The McBee Dynasty, McBee hinted that new episodes are coming just in time for summer.
“I’m good, guys. I appreciate all the love and support,” he shared. “I got a damn good dog. I got a damn good family. I got a damn good life.”
Eklund also previously revealed that she filmed episodes with McBee during late 2025.
“Stepping into Season 3 felt unfamiliar, but after multiple open and honest conversations, I had a sense of peace about supporting Steven through it. I made it very clear from the beginning that I’m not an actress — I wasn’t there to play a character or perform for the cameras,” Eklund told Naluda magazine in December 2025.
She added, “What people will see is an organic love story that was genuinely unfolding in real time. I wasn’t even officially Steven’s girlfriend yet when I first appeared on the show; I was simply showing up for someone who asked me to be there for him during a circumstance I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”
