Hollywood legend Kevin Costner has taken a break from filming in Queensland to watch an AFL match.
The Yellowstone star was spotted in the stands at the Gabba as Brisbane hosted Carlton on Friday night.
AFL commentator Brian Taylor was stunned to see the A-lister standing in a box with his entourage as the game kicked off.
‘There’s Kevin Costner. A bit of Hollywood royalty there. It doesn’t get much bigger than Kevin Costner,’ Taylor said.
Aussies online made light of Costner’s visit to the Gabba, with many commenting ‘if you build it, he will come’ in reference to his baseball movie Field of Dreams.
‘Maybe he knows how to get a free kick against Brisbane at the Gabba?’ another Aussie said.
