Glass Cube Furniture : Murano Glass Stools

6AM collaborated with Bottega Veneta on a suite of hand-blown Murano glass stools that transform traditional craft into sculptural seating. The stools reinterpret Venetian glassmaking through CNC-carved forms, resulting in jewel-like objects that function as both furniture and installation. Their presence on the runway connected material heritage with the brand’s contemporary vision.

Produced in ten custom colors, each stool begins as a solid glass block before being shaped through subtractive techniques that emphasize texture and translucency. Under bright lighting, the pieces refract and scatter color across the runway, turning seating into a dynamic element of the show environment. More than functional objects, they act as sculptural interventions that alter perception as viewers move around them. The collaboration highlights the intersection of craft, fashion, and design, showing how traditional processes can generate contemporary expressions in unexpected contexts.
