The Gloves Are On? Gervonta Davis Has MORE Words For Papoose

Gervonta Davis spun the block AGAIN to take more shots at Papoose. The boxer tagged the rapper in a now-deleted Instagram Story post, seemingly suggesting that he would knock him out for coming at him. Davis wrote, “@papoose I would put you to sleep..now try what you did with old body with me..I bet they picking you up! Corny no lol.” So far, Papoose hasn’t responded to Gervonta’s latest jab, but he’s been taking jabs at him on his Instagram Story.

Here’s What Sparked Gervonta & Papoose’s Drama

Now, you’re probably wondering how Pap and Gervonta ended up having smoke in the first place. Well, it looks like things kicked off after Davis threw shade at Claressa Shields’ outfit from her recent listening event. On Monday, Nov. 2, Shields hosted a listening event in Atlanta for her debut album, ‘What Did You Expect.’ While some folks couldn’t wait to hear a lil’ preview of the GWOAT’s bars, others had their eyes on her outfit! And chileeee, Gervonta was one of them!

Claressa stepped out in a one-piece jumpsuit that featured a risqué lace-up detail along the back. But Gervonta made it real clear he wasn’t feeling her look AT ALL! Once he peeped the viral footage from her event, he hopped on Instagram saying she looked “a hot a** mess.”

Not Too Much On His Queen! Papoose Comes For Gervonta

Papoose didn’t stay quiet for too long! He entered the chat REAL quick to defend his queen. Pap called out Gervonta on his Instagram Story, seemingly referencing the boxer’s March 2025 match against Lamont Roach Jr. “Roach was getting off on that n***a @gervontaa That n***a said he had grease in his eye. The girl who did his hair said she ain’t use none,” Pap wrote.

During the ninth round, Davis shocked fans when he took a knee causing the fight to ultimately end in a majority draw, marking his first non-win. Afterward, Davis claimed that hair grease had dripped into his eyes and caused them to burn. However, his hairdresser appeared to dispute his explanation in her own statement.

Pap wasn’t done. He kept the jabs coming in more Instagram Story posts, seemingly taking aim at Gervonta over past domestic violence allegations involving women.

“You too tall to be making threats bozo. Now, try that shit you did to your girlfriend on me. Woman beating a** n***a. Pap continued, “I think dancing like a woman every chance you get is corny. But who’s judging? @gervontaa”
