Gabourey Sidibe said, “My man, my man, my man!” because sis is STILL loving her husband, Brandon Frankel! In a conversation with PEOPLE, the actress got real about how marriage has shifted since welcoming their twins, joking that they’ve gone from lovers to teammates just trying to survive toddler life. But even with less time for date nights and romance, Gabby made it clear that watching her husband step into fatherhood has made her love him even more.

“Well, we used to be lovers, and now we’re teammates,” she revealed. “We fight for our lives every day, because they’re very much toddlers.” The actress continued, “It’s changed a little bit, but also it’s tougher to find time for us to be married people. We forget, and we just spend the day surviving. Gaby also shared, “But also, I love watching that man be a father. I love it so much. … My whole life, I’ve been like, ‘Ugh, am I gonna have kids? Am I gonna have a husband?’ And I know that I chose the correct man to be a father. He needed to be a father. He really blossomed … He really loves being my husband.”
