A Melbourne woman was pulling into her driveway when she was threatened by men, including one allegedly armed with a knife, before her Porsche was taken.
Victoria Police were called to Godfrey Street in Bentleigh at 9.20pm on Friday after reports of a carjacking.
While returning home and reversing into a driveway, the driver of the white Porsche was confronted by a group, one of them allegedly armed with a large kitchen knife.
Police allege the group threatened the 44-year-old woman and demanded she hand over the keys to the Porsche.
They then drove off in the luxury car as the owner fell to the ground, suffering a minor injury.
Several police units reported they had spotted the Porsche driving in a dangerous manner and at speed across Melbourne’s western and southern suburbs.
At 2.10am on Saturday, officers saw the Porsche in Melbourne’s east, allegedly speeding with its headlights off.
When police attempted to intercept the car, the driver failed to pull over and led officers through the Melba Tunnel towards a road on the Eastern Freeway at Springvale Road which was closed due to roadworks.

Officers pulled back, but the stolen vehicle turned around just before the roadworks and drove into oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road.
The Porsche then collided with a van. The van driver, a Yarra Ranges man, 51, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The alleged driver of the Porsche, a 19-year-old Pakenham man, had to be extracted from the car before he was taken to hospital under police guard with serious injuries.
The other two passengers, a 21-year-old Clayton man and an 18-year-old Silvan woman, were also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
