Tyler Farr was forced to cancel a festival performance after he suffered a severe injury in a motor vehicle accident. 

The country singer’s set at the Goshen Stampede in Connecticut was canceled on Saturday, June 13, after he sustained a concussion during the incident on his farm, festival organizers announced on Instagram.

“Due to a motor vehicle incident on his farm, Tyler Farr was taken to a local hospital and diagnosed with a severe concussion,” the message read. “Tyler Farr will no longer be able to perform at the Goshen Stampede on June 13, 2026.”

“We appreciate everyone's understanding and will share additional event information as it becomes available. We wish Tyler a speedy recovery,” the festival added.

No further details surrounding the “Better in Boots” musician's accident were shared.

Farr reshared the post from Goshen Stampede on his Instagram Stories, but did not elaborate on the situation or the cancellation.

David Foster and the All Stars replaced Farr at the event, per the social media post.

Representatives for Farr did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Sunday, June 14.

Farr's wife, Hannah Freeman, posted a photo on her Instagram Stories that same day of their 5-year-old daughter, Hollis, attending “her first day of tennis.”
