Conor McGregor is finally set to return to UFC after a five-year absence with Dana White announcing a welterweight fight against Max Holloway in Las Vegas on July 11.
McGregor last fought on July 10, 2021 – breaking his leg and losing to Dustin Poirier. He has faced Holloway before – beating him with a torn ACL back in 2013 in Boston. Now, they will rematch in a nontitle bout at UFC 329 in a little under two months.
The 37-year-old McGregor remains the richest UFC fighter in history despite such a long absence.
He has generated a net worth of more than $200million throughout his legendary career, in which he has picked up championships in two different weight classes.
