Coco Rocha revealed that her eldest daughter is already raiding her closet — despite not being quite tall enough yet to fit into the clothes.
The supermodel and entrepreneur, 37, caught up with PEOPLE exclusively at the Fashion Group International’s 30th Annual FGI Rising Star Awards, which she hosted in New York City on April 16.
During the conversation, the mom of three shared that her eldest child, daughter Ioni James, 11, often takes her clothes. “My oldest is already stealing things and taking [them] to school,” Rocha said.
“I love it, but it's also hilarious because — as you can tell — I have long legs, she's not quite there yet, so she drags my pants into school,” she continued.
The proud mother added, “I love her confidence. I wish I had confidence like that at [her age]. I hope she never loses it. But yes, she's already pulling pieces, and I guess I should be so honored.”

Rocha, who is also mom to Iver Eames, 8 and Iley Ryn, 5, whom she shares with husband James Conran, additionally shared her personal style philosophy.
“Whatever you want to wear, go wear it,” she said. “We are not curing cancer, we're not changing the world, we're having fun. So enjoy wearing whatever you want to wear, if it's trending or not,” she explained.

The star also shared that she's particularly adverse to the idea of style trends altogether, adding that the word “trend” gives her the “ick.”
“The trend should be whatever you fabulously want,” Rocha said.
And as to who the television personality is currently tracking in the fashion world? “Well, I am the host of Project Runway Canada. And so our last winner, Leeland [Mitchell], was outstanding,” Rocha said.

“He was self-taught by his mom, who had a sewing shop in [a] Chinese mall,” she continued of Leeland.
“I am wearing one of his pieces very soon. And I'm just proud of him … And I love that … you didn't have to go to an upscale fashion school. You can, but you don't have to. You can do this,” Rocha added.
