A new face is coming to Chicago Fire for Season 15. Matthew Daddario is set to join the upcoming season as a firefighter candidate, Deadline has confirmed.
New series regular Da’Vinchi, whose character is the same rank, shared a photo from set on Thursday, August 20, teasing the casting. Alongside three fire emojis, he shared a photo of himself, Daddario, and Brandon Larracuente, who plays Vasquez. sitting on Truck 81.
Chicago Fire follows the professional and personal lives of firefighters, rescuers and paramedics of Firehouse 51 in the Windy City.
We don’t have a logline yet for Season 15, but Season 14 ended with plenty of new opportunities for the characters. Former Chief Pascal (Dermott Mulroney), who had been absent since Episode 14, returns to discuss with Severide (Kinney) his professional options: Chief of Firehouse 51 or Chief of Fire Investigation? As Severide was about to share his decision, an emergency call interrupts his announcement.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger when 51 answers an emergency call that a storage facility is on fire. A loud boom is heard and.. cut to black. The answers will come in Season 15, so stay tuned.
Victor Terharn will serve as showrunner and executive producer following Andrea Newman’s exit after 14 seasons.
