Hasbro has announced a significant development in the Peppa Pig universe with the revelation that Mummy Pig is expecting a baby girl. This storyline expansion follows February’s pregnancy announcement. In the first stages, the pregnancy was unveiled through an exclusive episode of Peppa Pig Tales on Walmart Canada’s website, where Peppa and George discover the news through a playful balloon-themed reveal.

The narrative development in the Peppa Pig universe coincides with a new product line that is launching exclusively at Walmart in Canada and the U.S. from May 29 to July 31, 2025. This upcoming and highly anticipated range will include interactive dolls, dress-up sets, and figurines.

Hasbro is further amplifying the reveal through a global cinema event — Peppa Meets the Baby Cinema Experience — featuring new episodes and original songs.
