Cardi B and Stefon Diggs fuel reunion talk with VERY touchy appearance together at charity event

Stefon Diggs and Cardi B have sparked speculation that they are once again an item after their tense breakup around the Super Bowl in February.

The power couple, who have a child together, were all over each other at a Mother’s Day event held in Washington DC on Saturday, behalf of the NFL player’s Diggs Deep Foundation.

They had broken up around February’s Super Bowl – the rapper was supporting her man in the buildup to the game but then wiped references to him on social media and unfollowed the former New England Patriots wide receiver shortly after his team lost.

An insider then told People that she had trust issues around Diggs, telling the publication: ‘Things were getting too heated and complicated. Cardi is very no-nonsense.

‘The second she felt that she couldn’t trust him, she pulled back to focus on her kids, her music and tour. They co-parent and the door is not completely closed. They might reconnect in the future.’

And it appears that they might have done just that. Diggs was filmed kissing Cardi on the cheek at the event in front of their guests, while she also swung her leg around him to pose for the cameras.

For Diggs, the latest development comes at the end of a whirlwind week with the NFL star cleared in court of assaulting his personal chef after an incidenet at his home in Massachusetts last December.

Jamila Adams, a former live-in personal chef, testified that Diggs slapped and choked her during an argument.

He had pleaded not guilty to a felony strangulation charge and a misdemeanor assault and battery charge.

The jury deliberated for less than two hours before clearing Diggs of all charges.

‘The evidence has shown what we’ve maintained from day one: Mr. Diggs was wrongly accused, and this case represents exactly the kind of opportunistic targeting that players can face the moment they step off the field,’ Diggs’ attorney, Mitch Schuster, said in a statement.

Diggs, who is a free agent now, could still face discipline from the NFL, with spokesman Brian McCarthy saying: ‘We have been monitoring all developments in the matter which remains under review of the personal conduct policy.’

The wide receiver was released by the Patriots in March despite an impressive season in New England leading up to the Super Bowl.

He led the team with 85 receptions and 1,013 yards receiving with four touchdowns.

However, much like the rest of his team, he had a day to forget at the Super Bowl in San Francisco, recording just three receptions for 37 yards as the Patriots lost 29-13 to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Patriots also saved some cap space by releasing him. Diggs signed a three-year $69 million deal in March 2025, with $26 million guaranteed. He was due to make $20.6 million this season.

Attention on the upcoming 2026 campaign will inevitably ramp up later this week for both Diggs and teams across the league when the full schedule drops on Thursday.
