Brittany Cartwright is speaking out on Jax Taylor’s new romance.

Less than two weeks after E! News confirmed her estranged husband is dating their former publicist Lori Krebs, the Vanderpump Rules alum shared her candid thoughts on the relationship.

“I never wish bad for anybody but they have to be absolutely miserable,” Cartwright told People in a video posted on Aug. 4, “and I hope they are.”

“My honest opinion is that my ex needs a mommy,” the 37-year-old—who broke up with Taylor in 2024—continued in the video, adding elsewhere, “I’ve never seen another publicist want to be the center of attention like she did.” 

E! News has reached out to Taylor’s rep and Krebs but has not received comment.

Cartwright’s heated interview comes after Taylor confirmed that he is, in fact, in a relationship. As the 47-year-old commented on his July 29 Instagram post after a fan suggested that he should be on The Bachelor, “No thanks I’m taken.”
