Britney Spears’ career and personal life have faced a series of ups and downs over the years. Spears first showed off her vocal skills on the singing competition Star Search at 10 years old in 1992. Following a stint on The Mickey Mouse Club, she signed a record deal with Jive Records in 1997 and […]

In the caption of her post, Lynne described Instagram as “something new” that she plans to incorporate into her daily routine.

“Around here you’ll find my kitchen, my garden, and all the little things that bring me joy,” she wrote. “Nothing fancy just my life, and I’m so glad you’re here for it!”

Lynne and Britney, 44, were very close as the pop star rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s, but their relationship has been rocky in recent years. Britney has claimed that her mother was to blame for the 13-year conservatorship that her father, Jamie, 74, placed her under in 2008, giving him control of her personal and financial affairs.

“My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is is [sic] that my mom is the one who gave him the idea !!!!” Britney wrote via Instagram in 2021, days before a Los Angeles judge terminated the legal arrangement. “I will never get those years back …. she secretly ruined my life. … My dad is not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship.”

Since then, Lynne and Britney have reunited a handful of times, though sources previously told Us their relationship is touch and go.

“Lynne understands Britney is still hurt and traumatized by the conservatorship, but she hopes one day they can focus on the future and not the past,” one insider said last year.
