Beauty is in the Eye of The Beholder

“People often say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside of ourselves.”
Great quote. So, when all is said and done, when you think about yourself, do you see yourself as beautiful or as ugly? Do you see yourself as a success or a failure? Are you your harshest critic or your biggest advocate? It all starts with believing in yourself.
Now, I want to be clear, I’m not suggesting that you’re perfect, although you are perfect the way you are. When I’m speaking of this, I’m talking about you, from the standpoint of a piece of clay, it’s being molded. Are you at the end product yet? I doubt it. You’ve got more work to do. But it’s time to continue sculpting.
Life isn’t easy? It can be hard at times. And this is an opportunity. This is a time where you can fix some of the things that aren’t quite right about yourself and,through that belief that it’s worth doing, come to a better place than you are now. Work at it. Try it. Recognize that that It will turn into something beautiful.
