Beau Lamarre-Condon’s cop friend tearfully describes the moment she realised he was a suspect in alleged double murder: ‘He’s here!’

Accused killer Beau Lamarre-Condon’s cop friend was terrified when he turned up at her house after allegedly murdering two people, telling a court she wanted to phone the police and scream: ‘He’s here! He’s here!’

The former senior constable, known as Fiona Rosso for court reporting purposes, sobbed uncontrollably as she told the NSW Supreme Court on Wednesday about the moment he appeared in her yard on February 22, 2024.

Ms Rosso said he brought a bucket with him and started cleaning blood stains from a rented Toyota HiAce van outside her house, even though she told him not to.

She told the court that she hadn’t read any news articles until he asked her to search online for the name Jesse Baird, and quickly realised Baird and his partner, Luke Davies, were missing and the main suspect was a police officer.

‘When reading the articles I saw [the number for] Crime Stoppers and I just wanted to scream, “He’s here! He’s here!”,’ she told the court in between tears.

Lamarre-Condon ended up sleeping on one end of her couch that night while she slept on the other.

The following day, her alarm went off at 4.30am.

She told the court Lamarre-Condon used her phone because he didn’t want cops to trace his phone, before he ran from the house.

Later that day, she called Crime Stoppers and he turned himself in to Bondi Police Station.

There is no dispute Baird and Davies were fatally shot in a terrace in Paddington on February 19, 2024, or that their bodies were dumped by a fence in the rural town of Bungonia, but Lamarre-Condon says he never meant to hurt them.

He has pleaded not guilty to two counts of domestic violence-related murder and one count of break and enter.
