The BBC has finally confirmed the return date for The Celebrity Traitors – and there’s not long at all to wait.
On Tuesday evening, a new teaser for the second run of the Bafta-winning reality show was released, which included shots of famous contestants Michael Sheen, Maya Jama, Romesh Ranganathan, Bella Ramsey and Joe Lycett meeting the rest of the cast for the first time, before being set their first mission by host Claudia Winkleman.
When is The Celebrity Traitors back for season 2?
Excitingly, this new clip was also accompanied by the news that The Celebrity Traitors would be back on BBC One on Thursday 1 October at 8pm, meaning we have just over two weeks to go until the latest action from telly’s most iconic castle.
What’s more, the launch episode has been extended by 15 minutes to accommodate even more drama, while Claudia is to star in her own one-off special, Traitor Or Faithful? Claudia Decides, in which she will open up about her decision as to which celebs she’s chosen as the series’ titular Traitors.
After the launch, The Celebrity Traitors will air twice a week, on Thursdays and Fridays, leading up to what we’re already certain will be another action-packed final.
