Ayo Dosunmu is set to undergo shoulder surgery to repair a fracture on Wednesday.

Dosunmu will need 4-6 months to recover from the surgery.

An MRI revealed that the fracture was over a year old.

“It was something that I played on and I think I could have continued to play on, but I don’t know for what reason,” said Dosunmu.

Dosunmu will be entering the final year of a three-year, $21 million contract next season.

Dosunmu is expected to be ready for next year’s training camp.
