Fans quickly stepped in to point out that the bag is a collector’s item from Takashi Murakami x LV and an appreciating “asset.”

Moneybagg Yo dropped someone’s salary on an artsy purse for his wife, Ari Fletcher. And the beauty entrepreneur took to social media to appreciate the gift while also joking about how much money her man spent — and WHO was responsible for letting the sale go down! The small, circular purse has a silver insert, a short white strap, and colorful daisies covering its surface, with a gold Louis Vuitton logo.

“Whoever let my husband spend 32K on this bag, count your days lol it was so thoughtful tho,” she wrote.

Singer Monica & Fans Weigh In On Moneybagg’s Gift

In The Shade Room’s comment section, the roommates quickly went to bat for Moneybagg Yo’s purse pick and the bands he dropped to secure it. Even singer Monica, who says she’s a collector, dropped by to tell Ari Fletcher to cut Moneybagg some slack. “whx LV is an appreciating asset ! He did great Sis don’t get him LOL @therealkylesister,” Monica wrote.

The purse appears to be a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami, whose signature style are the colorful smiling flowers. He’s been partnering with LV as far back as 2003 when he reimagined the brand’s traditional pattern into colors and vibrant patterns. It’s unclear whether Ari Fletcher’s Takashi Murakami x LV bag is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind design.
