Annastacia Palaszczuk’s long-time surgeon partner Reza Adib has been charged with three counts of rape less than 24 hours after his luxury apartment was raided.
The 59-year-old appeared tense as he left the Southport police station flanked by his lawyer just after 2pm on Friday.
Dr Adib has been charged with three counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and two counts of deprivation of liberty.
The alleged offences occurred on March 30.
