What do we know about Millie Bobby Brown’s next Netflix project?
That project is Just Picture It, an upcoming Netflix romantic comedy starring Millie Bobby Brown alongside Gabriel LaBelle. Directed by Lee Toland Krieger and written by Jesse Lasky, the film follows college students Bea and Sam, whose phones mysteriously begin showing them photos from 10 years in the future depicting them as a happily married couple with children.
Lasky has said the screenplay was inspired by his own relationship with his wife, imagining what might have happened if they had known they would eventually end up together while they were still in college. The premise blends romance, comedy and a touch of mystery, while also marking Brown’s first leading role in a romantic comedy.
The film is produced by Netflix, RK Films and Millie Bobby Brown’s own PCMA Productions, with the actress once again serving as a producer. Speaking on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, Brown recently described Netflix as her “home studio” and called the project one she is actively developing with the streamer.
For Brown, the movie represents another milestone in an already extensive Netflix career. Following projects, including Enola Holmes, Damsel, and The Electric State, Just Picture It is set to become her seventh collaboration with the platform.
What else do we know about Just Picture It?
Millie Bobby Brown and Gabriel LaBelle lead an ensemble cast that also includes Amrit Kaur, Julian Dennison, Idina Menzel, Ben Jackson Walker, Brec Bassinger, Anthony Keyvan, Margo Martindale and Austin Woods. The project also marks LaBelle’s first leading role in a Netflix original following his acclaimed performances in The Fabelmans and Saturday Night.
Principal photography wrapped in October 2025 after filming across several locations in Georgia, including Atlanta, Decatur, Norcross, and Gwinnett County. The movie is now deep into post-production as work continues behind the scenes.

Netflix has yet to announce an official release date, and the film was notably absent from the streamer’s 2026 “What’s Next” slate. However, with production already complete, industry expectations point to a late 2026 debut, although a 2027 release remains a possibility.
With another original film already lined up after Enola Holmes 3, Brown’s partnership with Netflix shows no signs of slowing down. As audiences await an official release date, Just Picture It is shaping up to be one of the actress’ most anticipated upcoming projects.
