I posted a Q&A box on IG and received quite a few great questions! In order to share more in depth I felt it was easiest to post the answers on site. Before we jump in, a few PSA announcements below!
This set from Hill House, that completely blew out last year, is back and in two new colors here! They also added this chic pant.
The Saks designer sale has started here. I am eyeing this dress and these pants from one of my favorite labels and how fun are these jeweled raffia pumps?!
J.Crew has decided to kick off their Memorial Day sale early here. They have lots of goods up to 40% off and tons of dresses at 50% off!
You can use code BLAIR20 for 20% off Lilly Pulitzer here until June 5th! Some exclusion apply. If you need a little inspiration check out this post.
Q: How do you manage your closet? What do you do with the items you no longer want/need?
A: I feel like this question comes up almost every Q&A that I do! So, I actually do not have that large of a closet in our primary bedroom and we are currently going through the process of working with someone to *finally* convert one of the guest bedrooms into a larger closet space. I have been going back and forth about this for years and have come to the conclusion that the space would be better utilized as a closet versus another guest room. We have other options for guest rooms, so we would still be able to host friends and family and I will finally have a place to access all of my clothing more easily – and to possibly film styling videos.
For all the pieces I no longer need or have room for in my closet I do a combination of things. I gift to family members and friends, donate, sell the The Real Real, or consign locally!
Q: Wedding guest dress ideas? Summer formal.
A: I love shopping for wedding guest dresses. A few of my favorite formal ones right now are this one, this one, and this one. If bright colors are your thing, I also like this dress and this one!
Q: How come you never speak to camera?
A: I love fashion and styling and am so lucky that being a creator is my full time job. With that being said, I have a tricky relationship with being online. I like to share my outfits, but I start to get uncomfortable when I feel like I am sharing too much of myself or my life. Speaking to camera feels extremely personal so I have not done a ton of it over the past 15+ years. I am toying with idea of speaking to camera more and sharing more video of actively stying items, but I will continue to keep a strict boundary between my online life and my personal life.
Q: What is your favorite travel outfit?
A: I switch it up quite a bit, but currently it is this look.
Q: Palm beach girls weekend outfit ideas?
A: Fun! Can I come? I love Palm Beach – but be prepared it is already HOT down here. I would focus on easy, versatile pieces that are still fashion forward. Like this wrap skirt that would be chic back to a striped tee but also could work as a cover up by the pool. This dress that can be styled with the bow in front or back also caught my eye. When it comes to swim, I love a great one-piece and this is currently on my list and is perfect for a Florida weekend getaway. For dinner I would pack some flowy maxi dresses like this one. I typically pack one 1-2 pairs of shoes, so gold sandals like these that can be worn with a maxi or with swim would be perfect.
Q: Can you show me how much The Horse mini bag fits? I am afraid it is too small for me?

A: So the mini bag (shop it here) can fit my iPhone 16 pro, a card case, keys, and a lip gloss! If this is too small for you I also own this bag and love it. It fits my phone, a continental wallet, keys, as well as a small makeup bag.
Q: What was the body lotion you posted last week?
A: I have been using this ultra luxe body lotion lately, I love it!
Q: What made you move to Sarasota?
A: So, I have never really told the full story. I often joke that we accidentally moved to Sarasota. We bought a home here back in 2017 and renovated it for 2 years. It was finished in December of 2019. At the time we were living in Dumbo and desperately wanted to move back into Manhattan as Brooklyn just wasn’t for us. In December of 2019 we decided not renew our lease in Dumbo and move fully down to Sarasota for the winter season. We planned on being in Sarasota until March of 2020. We felt it would be a nice time to get settled in and decorate the house and then return to NYC in March and look for a new place in Manhattan. We didn’t tell many people we were ‘moving’ as that wasn’t really the plan. We would be back in March. We thought. Plus, we had work in NYC in the month of January and February and came back to the city several times. Covid hit the week before one of our flights to return to NYC. Like everyone else, we had no idea how it would last. We felt grateful to be in a more spacious home with a pool and lots of outdoor space. As time dragged on, going back to NYC just felt less and less likely. We kept punting our plans three months and six months and then it just sort of wasn’t our plan anymore. We still talk about moving back, but really enjoy the pace and space we have in Florida.
Q: How is Penny?
A: She is such a good girl! I love when people ask about her. This July will be our 6th year with her and I really can’t imagine life without her. I absolutely love dogs, but always felt like it was selfish to have a dog in NYC as we were traveling so much and gone for so many hours during the day. Being in Sarasota makes it so much easier to have a dog. Plus, my parents have a home less than 10 minutes away from us, so when we travel we joke that Penny gets to go to her beach house. Penny also has big news to share – she just landed her first sponsored contract with one of her favorite brands. She is booked and busy!
Q: Favorite initial pendant?
A: This is the one that I wear most often! Lately I have seen so many creators that I follow and love wearing this one and I am thinking about getting one for myself.
Q: How often do you online shop or how much time do you spend each week shopping?
A: I shop and buy more than the average person because it is part of my job, so I wouldn’t consider the amount of time I shop to be normal by any means. I typically browse online everyday and spend at least an hour looking for pieces to style, new trends to highlight, sales that I think you all would love, etc!
Q: I saw a post with a beautiful Sézane set. What size do you take in the brand?
A: I believe you are thinking of this set. I am typically a size 4 in Sézane! For reference, I am a size 0 or XS in J.Crew, US size 4 in ASOS, XS in Tuckernuck, and almost always a size 25 in denim. Hope that helps!
