In the footage from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Sha’Carri Richardson grabs Christian Coleman by his backpack and gets in his face. She then follows him and shoves him. Christian tries to walk away, but Sha’Carri walks closely behind him and eventually shoves him again near a TSA checkpoint.

Christian Coleman reacted to Sha’Carri’s arrest just a few days later. In a video on Citius Mag’s Instagram page, Christian said he feels like the whole situation was, “sticky all around.” He also insisted that officials shouldn’t have arrested Sha’Carri for the incident.

“I don’t feel as if, she should’ve been arrested. I mean, people have emotions and stuff like that. She has things she needs to work on for herself, of course. But so do I, so do you. Everybody,” Coleman stated.
