Ciara Shares Update On Relationship With Rihanna After Met Gala

Ciara Opens Up About Where She Currently Stands With Rihanna

If you remember, back in 2011, heads were turning after Ciara told Fashion Police that Rihanna wasn’t “the nicest” during a run-in at a party. However, Rihanna had fired back with a now-iconic tweet, “My bad Ci, did I 4get to tip u?” — and Ciara clapped back , saying “Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage.” But the shade didn’t last long as they seemingly made up that same night on Twitter, and most recently, fans clocked them kicking it at the Met Gala, showing that the beef is behind them.

But, on a recent episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ Ciara took the hot seat and spilled all the tea. When it came to Rihanna in particular, Andy had to get the real talk straight from the source. Ciara kept it real saying she has nothing but “love” for the Rih:

“Oh my gosh. We were babies, now we’re mamas doing our thing. It’s all love,” Ciara said. When asked about the Met Gala moment, she added, “We got to have a good conversation and she’s now having her third baby, which is so cool. So, shoutout to mamas out here doing everything, making it happen. Cici got a lot of love for Riri”

Ciara shared that it was “so sweet” running into Rih at the iconic event, where they linked up, laughed it up, and even snapped a photo together alongside their men, Russell Wilson and A$AP Rocky.

“I just have to shout her out ’cause I’m so proud of her. This is her third baby she’s having now,” she told Sherri Shepherd.
