ASL-Friendly Entertainment Initiatives : ASL Saturdays

Having launched on March 1st, SeaWorld Orlando’s ASL Saturdays program stands as a progressive accessibility initiative that enhances the inclusivity of the entertainment experience.

SeaWorld Orlando’s ASL Saturdays is a recurring monthly offering on the first Saturday of each month. This carefully structured program provides comprehensive American Sign Language interpretation services throughout the park. In establishing this inclusivity-focused feature, the company addresses a significant gap in theme park accessibility for Deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors.

The park has collaborated with American Sign Language Services to ensure high-quality communication access during shows, animal encounters, and educational presentations. Strategically placed interpreter seating sections at major venues guarantee clear visibility of signing, while a dedicated interpreter stationed at the Welcome Center from 9 AM to 3 PM assists guests with itinerary planning and general inquiries. Notably, these services require no additional fee beyond standard admission.
