Tottenham have a deal in place with Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye and have proposed Richarlison to go the other way.

However the deal has still to be fully agreed and ratified.

As reported by Daily Mail Sport last week, Tottenham opened discussions last week when it became apparent that Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo would opt to join Manchester City should the Anfield club agree to sell.

There are two separate deals under discussion for Richarlison and Ndiaye. 

Ndiaye has turned down multiple contract offers in the last 12 months. Everton’s valuation of Ndiaye has been £80m.

Man City have also been looking at a deal for Ndiaye. Everton are looking into a return deal for Man City winger Jack Grealish.

Ndiaye has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 74 appearances for Everton, since joining in a £15m move from Marseille in 2024.

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi had been appointed as Marseille’s head coach just days before Ndiaye was sold, with the winger never playing a match under the Italian.

Ndiaye, who has 44 caps for Senegal, had previously been an integral to Sheffield United’s Championship promotion season in 2023.

De Zerbi revealed following Tottenham’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle on Saturday that Richarlison was one of three players to have asked to leave the club.

‘Richarlison he said too many times that he wanted to leave,’ De Zerbi said.

‘[Kevin] Danso came to me two days ago and said he wanted to leave. [Pape Matar] Sarr the same but he also suffered a small injury but he is almost ready to train.’

Richarlison has scored 32 goals in 134 matches for Tottenham since signing from Everton in a £60m deal.

The Brazilian previously scored 53 goals in 152 games for Everton.
