A Chinese international student is too scared to leave his home almost a week after he and others were allegedly attacked and abused by two women.

Lenny Tai, 29, and two friends were waiting for a ride-share home near Sydney’s Central Station at about 3am last Saturday.

Their night out took a dramatic turn when two strangers, believed to be women in their 20s, began taunting the men from the other side of the road.

‘Do you want Pokemon cards?’ the women allegedly repeatedly yelled.

The international students tried to defuse the situation by walking away.

But the men claim the women followed and confronted them, allegedly hurling racist and sexually explicit abuse.

Confronting footage showed one woman pushing and shoving the men while the other filmed the clash on her phone.

‘You wanna f****** say that to my face, c***? In Australia? … You will never be let back in our country,’ the woman yelled.

The men tried to push her away.

‘I don’t want to touch you,’ one of them is heard saying.

The woman who was filming is then seen appearing to get involved in the altercation.

Mr Tai was allegedly grabbed by the neck and choked, leaving him with several bloodied scratches on his face.

Five days later, Mr Tai is still having nightmares.

‘We couldn’t sleep well, I can’t eat, it’s painful for me to recall that night,’ he told the Sydney Morning Herald.

‘I live very close to where it happened. I don’t feel safe.’

His friend Minghao Zhan, 20, added: ‘I feel really scared.

‘I think it’s not just Chinese students … These people hate Asians.’

NSW Police are investigating the alleged incident

NSW Police are investigating the alleged assault, which occurred at a bus stop at the corner of Pitt and Hay streets in Haymarket.

They have also released descriptions of two women they would like to speak to.

‘The man was allegedly assaulted by two women who were unknown to him,’ a spokeswoman told Daily Mail.

‘The man sustained a scratch to his chin during the alleged assault.’

The first woman is described as Caucasian, about 160cm tall, of large build, with long brown hair. She was wearing a black jacket, green top, black cargo pants and black shoes.

The second woman is described as Caucasian, about 160cm tall, of large build, with brown hair. She was wearing a brown top, red skirt and a black hat.
