Asian equities were mostly lower as investors reassessed expectations for higher U.S. interest rates, which outweighed support from easing tensions in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, all three U.S. equity index futures were lower, with the biggest weakness in technology shares. Dow -0.12%, S&P 500 -0.57%, Nasdaq -1.06%.
