Anna Camp Wants The Hunting Wives Cameo With Brittany Snow

Anna Camp will always be a Bella at heart — but would she join Pitch Perfect’s Brittany Snow for a cameo on The Hunting Wives?

“Sign me up! I would die to be on that show,” Camp, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly on Sunday, May 31, while attending the MPTF NextGen Summer Party, presented by Delta Air Lines and Waymo. “They have such amazing story lines, they get to do some really fun, juicy things.”

Snow, 40, turned up the heat when she stepped into the role of Sophie O’Neil on Netflix’s The Hunting Wives in July 2025.

On the show, which was quickly renewed for season 2, Sophie gets swept up into the seductive life of the elite East Texas socialite group after its leader, Margo Banks (Malin Akerman), takes a liking to her.

Season 1 was filled with sex, affairs and murder, all of which pushed Snow out of her comfort zone — and Camp took notice.

“I’m so proud of her for really going there and giving it her all, because on that show you really can’t be scared at all,” Camp told Us of her longtime friend. “One of my favorite [pieces of] advice, when I tell younger actors, they’re always like, ‘What’s your advice?’ And I go, ‘Screw fear, you have to be fearless.’”

The actress continued, “And I feel like Brittany is so fearless on that show, and Malin, as well. And I just am so proud of her, it’s really, really awesome.”

Camp noted that after The Hunting Wives premiered, she wasted no time sending Snow a congratulatory message.

“When it was, like, blowing up, I was like, ‘Girl, you are everywhere, and I’m so proud of you,’” Camp recalled.

The You alum explained that Snow returned the favor, telling her she was “so proud” of her and couldn’t “wait to see” her play Jessica Bowden in Scream 7.

“We definitely are, like, never in town at the same time, but from afar, we’re always having each other’s backs and … I’m just so happy for her,” Camp gushed.

The actresses later reprised their roles in two more films in the musical franchise, and their real-life friendship mirrors the bond fans see on screen. (Snow was a bridesmaid in Camp’s 2016 wedding to Skylar Astin, from whom she split in 2019. Camp was also at Snow’s wedding to Tyler Stanaland in 2020, but they too have since divorced.)

“We kind of grew up together, right? I was so young when I did that first movie. I turned 29 while shooting the first film. I turned 30 when it came out,” Camp told Us on Sunday. “We’ve seen each other through relationships, divorces, ups and downs, and watched each other grow up in so many amazing ways.”

Camp shared that her “bond” with the Pitch Perfect cast “will never be broken.”

She pointed to creator Elizabeth Banks as the reason the women all “built a family,” noting, “I would do anything for any one of those girls anytime.”
