A man has died in Manchester after plunging from a building in the city centre. 

Greater Manchester Police were called at around 4pm on Saturday to reports that a man had fallen from the building on Charles Street. 

Cops confirmed the man’s death is being treated as unexplained, and an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing. 

Pictures showed emergency services at the scene, while a blue forensic tent was put up outside the Maldron hotel.
