Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari have a new addition!

The actor, 53, has welcomed his third baby, his second with his wife, 32. He announced the happy news on Instagram on Saturday, May 16, revealing the newborn girl's unique name and sharing a series of photos.

"Rocca de Leon Duhamel our baby girl is here 🤍🕊️," he wrote in the caption.

Duhamel and Mari are already parents to son Shepherd, 2. The actor is also dad to 12-year-old son Axl, whom he shares with ex-wife Fergie.

One photo in the carousel showed a series of polaroids of the newborn sleeping, her proud dad holding up a celebratory bottle of champagne by her bassinet, and Duhamel and Mari posing together.

Other shots showed Shepherd meeting his new baby sister and the infant snuggling against her mom's chest in the hospital.

Ahead of welcoming his baby girl, Duhamel shared his excitement about becoming a girl dad while speaking with E! News about his new comedy Preschool. The actor told fellow new dad Derek Hough that he "cannot wait to meet her."

"I don't know what to make of it. I'm just so — I cannot wait to meet her," he said. "And I think there's something about dads and their little girls. It's different, you know?"

Mari first revealed that she was pregnant again in an Instagram carousel filled with black-and-white photos of herself baring her baby bump. In the first image, Mari sat in a bed with her legs crossed while wearing a half-buttoned top with her stomach exposed as she smiled at the camera. A second image showed her beaming as she looked down to cradle her belly. 

“Adding a little girl to our story. We can’t wait to meet you,” she captioned her post.

In August, the Life As We Know It actor spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about being a father to two sons and addressed whether or not he'd want to be a girl dad. "I just love being a dad. I love every single milestone," Duhamel said.

At the time, the now dad of three shared that his two sons are quite different from each other and unique in their own ways. 

"My wife's father is a big car guy and a collector of cars, and I think that Shepherd is very much like his grandfather," Duhamel told PEOPLE. "He just loves cars… and all he wants to do is get up in the seat and just pretend like he's driving. Even if it's a little tricycle, he wants to get in there and pretend."

Axl, on the other hand, "doesn't really care so much" about cars, according to his famous dad, who said his eldest is fond of sports.

"He's more about soccer and basketball stats," Duhamel continued. "But that's the beauty of genetics. They all come out a little bit different."
