Los Angeles Chargers cut star man Joey Bosa in ruthless move to free up cap space

The Los Angeles Chargers are releasing Joey Bosa in order to save $25million in cap space, the organization said on Wednesday night.

The Chargers said the move ‘is a tough one’ with the No 3 pick of the 2016 Draft now looking for a new team ahead of the 2025 season.

The 29-year-old Bosa has struggled with injuries over the past three years but is considered one of the best linebackers in the league.

Joey’s younger brother, Nick, plays as a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers.
