Shot in the same town as One Tree Hill (Wilmington, NC), Dawson’s Creek is the absolute OG of teen dramas. You’ve got a small oceanside town where everyone dates each other, has piles of angst, and dreams of escaping their families.

Plus, the love story between Joey and Pacey is so giddy-inducing and perfectly mirrors Hannah and Garrett’s dynamic. Pacey might have his issues, but boy, does he make me melt.

I will note: the dialogue in this show can be draining — and is definitely not how actual teens talk — but once you get over that hurdle, you’re in for a ride.
