4 new free live streaming channels were just added to Roku and Prime Video

More and more streaming services with free content have popped up, and I am all for it. Paying for platforms like Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max can take a lot out of your bank account each month. However, FAST platforms like Tubi, Pluto TV, and Plex have succeeded by offering people hundreds of titles and live channels to watch for free.

Versant, NBCUniversal’s spinoff company, has followed the crowd by launching four new ad-supported streaming channels featuring content from CNBC, Oxygen, and E!. These four new channels will be available on Amazon Prime Video in the U.S. on October 27. They will then launch on The Roku Channel on November 3 along with several other Versant channels. The company will continue to launch free channels on other platforms in the near future.

Versant started offering FAST channels with six selections when it became its own company in January 2026. After acquiring Free TV Networks later that month, the company expanded the lineup to nine channels. With its latest expansion, Versant will bring its free-channel lineup to 13.

“Growing our digital platforms and reaching new audiences are central to Versant’s strategy,” said Dave Pietrycha, Versant’s Chief Revenue and Business Officer. “Bringing more of our programming to Prime Video and The Roku Channel extends the reach of our iconic brands and provides audiences with more ways to discover content they value wherever they watch, from CNBC’s business and personal finance programming to Oxygen’s true crime, E!’s unscripted entertainment and Free TV Networks’ broad entertainment and genre-driven titles.”
