As a girl who was never a big fan of Twilight or the general vampire craze, this surprisingly became one of my all-time favorite shows. I love the world-building and how every plotline ties back to previous lore, like why Elena and Katherine are doppelgängers, the Originals, and even Silas. There’s a reason this show spawned two spin-offs!
