Tamagotchi is known for a simple, three-button interface that makes it easy and intuitive for users of all ages to care for their virtual pet, and Tamagotchi Paradise introduces a dial for a new experience with enhanced interactions. The all-new Zoom Dial is a twistable component lets players zoom through four levels of the Tamagotchi world: Tama Space, Tama Field, Tamagotchi, and Tama Cells.

Different layers of the zoom function unlock different care menus so that users can clean waste, and then turn it into biofuel for space travel. With the Lab Play mode, users can create characters, pass on genes, and breed a total of 50,000 different Tamagotchi—including some with legs, fins and wings.

With the connection feature, a pair of Tamagotchi Paradise users can connect their devices to cross-breed virtual pets and develop hybrids.
