Wrestlepalooza will indeed be streaming on Netflix for
the international audience, but only for international audiences. The event is
scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, with a start time of 7 PM ET/4 PM
PT in the United States. It will be held at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in
Indianapolis, Indiana. Viewers in the United States can watch the event on the
ESPN direct-to-consumer streaming service. The event promises several exciting
matches.

Originally an event produced by Extreme Championship
Wrestling, which WWE acquired, the new Wrestlepalooza is scheduled to be a
major premium live event and will be the first WWE premium live event to stream
on ESPN in the United States. A highly anticipated showdown will feature
wrestling icons John Cena versus Brock Lesnar. Additionally, a new Women’s
World Champion will be crowned when IYO SKY takes on Stephanie Vaquer.

This wrestling spectacle is only one piece of a much larger
streaming plan for the streaming giant.

Netflix’s expanding live event calendar

Netflix is significantly expanding its live content beyond
wrestling. From September to December, the platform will host a variety of
high-profile events. This includes the boxing match between Canelo Álvarez and
Terence Crawford in September, followed by the Six Kings Slam tennis exhibition
in October. These events showcase Netflix’s growing commitment to becoming a
destination for diverse live sports.

Later in the year, the streamer’s live sports portfolio will
expand even further. Fans can look forward to a boxing match between Jake Paul
and Tank Davis in November, adding a high-profile spectacle to the lineup.
December will bring the NFL Christmas Gameday, with two festive football
matches airing live. These broadcasts mark a new era of live sports programming
on the service. Not only events,
Netflix is also planning a Docuseries which has unseen footage and interviews.
