A delivery driver and his colleague managed to fight off two men who had allegedly attempted to take their truck on a busy Melbourne street.
Confronting footage showed the heroic LG drivers taking on the two alleged assailants while parked at a service station in Scoresby, in the city’s east, on Sunday.
The LG driver was kicked and punched but managed to keep them away from his vehicle. Witnesses alleged the confrontation was sparked when the men hurled racial insults before demanding the keys.
A second driver joined the first and helped force the men back to their car, a red Subaru.
One of the LG drivers was seen swinging a spirit level at one of the alleged attackers as he got into the escape car, bizarrely grabbing a guitar from the backseat.
‘Woah, woah, woah,’ the alleged attacker yelled. ‘Calm down, yeah.’
Victoria Police said it had no reports of serious injuries suffered in the fight.
Daily Mail has contacted LG for comment.
