Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren has been left ‘concerned’ about the golf legend following his shocking DUI arrest.
On Friday afternoon, Woods was arrested for DUI after he attempted to overtake a truck and trailer at high speed on a residential Jupiter Island road, before clipping the back of the vehicle and tipping his own SUV onto its side.
After clambering out of the passenger-side window, he refused to give a urine sample to cops and was arrested for DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. He was booked in jail at around 3pm and had his latest mugshot taken before being released at around 11pm.
In the wake of Woods’ latest crash, a source revealed to People that Nordegren – who was married to the golf legend for six years – wants him to prioritize his ‘health’.
The source told the outlet: ‘The kids are close with Tiger, so of course Elin cares too. She wants him to be well. Both kids are great and love spending time with their dad.
‘Elin’s concerned that he had another car crash and got arrested,’ they added.

Woods, 50, has previous when it comes to car crashes. He was involved in a similar accident in 2021, which shattered his right leg after he was trapped under the vehicle in California. He needed multiple surgeries in order to recover from his injuries.
‘His recovery from the crash [in 2021] in California was brutal. [Elin] just wants him to make the best choices for himself. It’s about his health and being there for the kids,’ the source continued.
At the end of February, Woods and Nordegren were reunited as the proud parents supported their son Charlie following his latest golfing achievement.
Charlie, 17, who recently committed to Florida State University, and his Benjamin School boys golf teammates were honored in a ceremony to celebrate their latest state championship.
‘Having the relationship that I have now with her is fantastic,’ Woods told Time in 2015. ‘We both know that the most important things in our lives are our kids. I wish I would have known that back then.’
The former couple posed for the cameras with the teenager, who sported his medal around his neck, sandwiched between them.
Woods first met Swedish model Nordegren in 2001, before proposing two years later. The couple then made it official at a lavish wedding in 2004.
They welcomed daughter Sam in 2007 and son Charlie in 2009, a year prior to the infamous sex scandal that brought their marriage crashing down in shocking fashion.
Nordegren divorced Tiger in 2010 after six years of marriage when she discovered the golfing great was cheating on her during Thanksgiving week with a woman named Rachel Uchitel.

Woods is driven home from jail after being bailed out by a friend late on Friday night

It is the fourth car crash the 15-time major winner has been involved in
What followed was one of the most dramatic collapses of a star’s reputation across sport as a number of other women later came forward to claim they’d been intimate with him.
However, despite their tumultuous past, the exes appear to now have a civil and supportive relationship as they co-parent their two children.
Woods is now in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, whose eldest daughter Kai is also a student at the Benjamin School and a promising golfer.
Woods had reportedly been banned from driving the US president’s grandchildren by the Secret Service prior to his recent arrest.
According to PEOPLE, Woods does not wish to hire his own private driver because he ‘doesn’t want anyone to watch over him or know what he is doing.’
A source also told the US publisher that the American is adamant ‘he thinks he is fine to drive’.
‘He is not a social butterfly and prefers to hang around his home with his kids, or hitting balls, or playing video games,’ the source added. ‘He despises public scrutiny.’

Woods’ life turned upside down with his car when he was involved in a high-speed crash

The golf legend’s last rollover crash came in 2021, when he was seen speeding in LA County
After clambering out of the passenger side window of his vehicle, Woods refused to give a urine sample to cops and was arrested for DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.
Cops released the remarkable image to the public shortly after 10pm on Friday, with Woods’ eyes puffy and bloodshot. An hour later, he was bonded out and driven away from the jail, as fans and reporters swarmed the car for a glimpse of him.
In photos taken by a Daily Mail photographer, Woods can be seen looking stony-faced with his lips pursed, before momentarily glancing out of the passenger side window at the gathered masses before disappearing into the night.
It was earlier revealed by Sheriff John Budensiek that the 15-time major champion would be required to spend at least eight hours in prison before being allowed to leave on bail.
