Nao Tamura designed the Tiki lamp with a whimsical design to elevate the interior space. It boasts a recognizable shape as it is designed in the silhouette of a bird. Tiki rests in an elegant position to interact and allow users to admire. The lamps are meant to be clustered together, and they can form flocks to decorate shelves, tables, and other settings.
The bird-shaped lamp seems to communicate with others in a sense that brings movement and connection. The essence of the Tiki lamp is rooted in its intricately carved shape. It uses robotic techniques, as each lamp is made from a milky-white tonal acrylic to form a sleek, clear-like body which nods to a delicate aesthetic.
