On a job interview, what are you selling to the hiring manager, the recruiter, to the employer, whoever you’re talking to? I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. What are you selling? You’re not selling your qualifications. Frankly, they don’t care. What they care about is results. They care about outcomes because they start to imagine you doing it for them. And that’s what makes the difference. If you sell your credentials, your qualifications to a lot of employers, they’re going to start tuning you out. They’re going to start treating you like a blowhard. Instead, focus on your achievements and what you did and what the impact of those achievements were at the last organization or at previous organizations as well.
