On Wednesday, July 2, the jury locked in a verdict in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial. The 55-year-old was found guilty on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. His mother, Janice Combs, and all his children — Christian Combs, Justin, Jessie, D’Lila, Chance, and Quincy Brown were all in court for the verdict. Following the judge’s denial of his reported $1 million bond, the Combs family has seemingly reacted to the outcome.

Combs Family Reacts After Jury Delivers Verdict In Federal Trial
Video footage obtained by The Shade Room shows the Combs family leaving the Manhattan courthouse. In the clip, Jessie, D’Lila, and Chance Combs walked hand in hand with their grandmother, Janice Combs. Behind them, Christian Combs and his girlfriend, Raven Tracy, held hands as they headed to a sprinter van.
The group didn’t seem pleased with the outcome after Judge Arun Subramanian denied Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs $1 million bond request. The judge had previously rejected bond before the trial and said he saw no reason to change that decision. Judge Subramanian also stated that after authorities searched Diddy’s homes, he engaged in “violent and illegal conduct.”
“This highlights a disregard for the rule of law and a propensity of violence,” he explained.
Diddy’s Lawyer Speaks Out Following Verdict
Shortly after the court announced Diddy’s verdict, his lawyer Marc Agnifilo addressed both the ruling and the jury. He called the outcome a win for Combs and a win for the jury. “Today’s a great victory for Sean Combs. It’s a great victory for the jury,” Agnifilo said.
Agnifilo further stated that he believes the jury got the decision right.
“We had a wonderful jury, they listened to every word and they got the situation right.. certainly right enough. So today is a great day, today is a win. Today is a victory of all victories for Sean Combs and our legal team,” Agnifilo continued.
From The Courtroom To Sentencing: What’s Next For Diddy
In the latest update on Diddy’s trial, he submitted a $1 million bond proposal signed by his mother, Janice, his sister, and Sarah Chapman, the mother of his eldest daughter, Chance Combs. However, the court denied the proposal and announced his sentencing date.
According to CNN, the Bad Boy Records founder will be sentenced on October 3 at 10 a.m. EST. NBC News reports that the defense is seeking a 21-to-27-month prison term, while the prosecution wants a sentence between 51 and 63 months. Diddy could reportedly be credited for the time he has already served.
