The Hakoake Portable Scissors by Kokuyo is a brilliant design that is a two-way cutter and miniature scissors all at once. What makes it stand out the most is the sliding mechanism, which allows users to switch between a cutter tool or scissors just with a light squeeze and a simple slide.

There is no cover needed so nothing will get lost or other extra parts either. All of the functions can be accessed with one hand. When it is in cutter mode, the short 3mm blade slides through tape and packages. The scissors mode can slice through clothing tags or plastic bands in an efficient manner. It is meant to be used on the go with its compact form.
