Former NFL star Asante Samuel came out swinging at the supporters of Donald Trump over the weekend.
Samuel, who won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, has been an outspoken critic of MAGA supporters since the 2024 presidential election.
And the 45-year-old took to social media once again on Sunday to ruthlessly mock the Americans who voted for the President.
The retired cornerback claimed that Trump voters would believe anything that came out of the Commander-in-Chief’s mouth.
‘If Trump told you there was a (sic) NFL game tomorrow you would believe it,’ Samuel wrote on X, adding three laughing emojis.
Earlier on Sunday, he had responded to a video showing large queues for security at Atlanta airport, seemingly implying that MAGA voters were responsible.

The two-time Super Bowl winner suggested MAGA supporters believe anything Trump says
‘Y’all voted for this mess,’ he wrote, quote-tweeting the post.
It wasn’t the first time that the four-time Pro Bowler has taken aim at Trump supporters. Back in 2024, he publicly turned on fellow former NFL player Le’Veon Bell.
In the build-up to the 2024 election, Bell claimed on X that if Kamala Harris defeated Trump at the ballot, he would leave the United States.
Samuel was quick to respond, writing: ‘Do us all a favor and please leave now. And I will ask you every day did you leave yet.’
He even jokingly suggested that he would set up a GoFundMe page to raise the money to fund Bell’s travel out of the country.
He continued to pile on his criticism of the President, adding: ‘That’s a shame, Trump got y’all attacking people. Make America Trumpless Again.’
Bell had been one of the most outspoken members of the NFL community who campaigned for Trump in the last election.

He joined fellow former NFL star Antonio Brown at a rally for Trump in Pennsylvania, before watching the Steelers’ win over the Dallas Cowboys with the pair.
‘Basically, what I’m trying to say is Trump a real one, bro,’ Bell later said in a video recapping his time with the former president.
‘He a real one. He didn’t tell me like he was gonna let me say anything or nothing, he didn’t tell me he was going to call me up. He just did that bro – off the love.
‘I get it, he might wanna win the election or whatever, but I’m trying to tell y’all, he didn’t have to do that. I could’ve messed up everything… That’s why (sic) y’all don’t understand is that Trump is a real one.’
