Track every position you apply for. Keep track of who you sent the resume to. Keep track of the job description. Keep track of everything related to every conversation for that job. This way, when it comes time to making a decision or even at the time that they’re reaching out to you, you don’t have to fumble around to try and find the information about the job, what it’s willing to pay, etc., etc.. Always track everything you do related to your search. You never know when it’s going to come in handy and it doesn’t take much time.
